I’m not one for spending money foolishly, so this article is designed to share tips I’ve come up with for securing a collection on a thin budget.
Hardly anyone who has been through Roanoke, Virginia, has left without seeing our beautiful H&C Coffee advertising neon atop a downtown building.
In the heyday of Roanoke’s Magic City Era (1890s), businessman Ferdinand Rorer operated one of the region’s many iron mines. Located on the south side of Roanoke Mountain, the Rorer Mines were said to produce some of the area’s better ores.
